ANAHEIM, CA. – September 4, 2014 – The First Tee of Orange County, CA., a non-profit organization formed to impact the young people of Orange County, is pleased to announce that its second annual Pro-Am Golf Tournament sponsored by Roger Dunn Golf Shops has secured three Presenting Sponsorships as well as a host of Supporting, Corporate, Executive, Hole and Hole-in-One Sponsors.
These premium golf equipment companies TaylorMade Adidas Golf and Callaway / Odyssey and Nike Golf have generously committed to The First Tee of Orange County Pro-Am as Presenting Sponsors. With combined donations totaling over $30,000, the three generous Presenting Sponsorships have provided such great potential for a worthy cause. According to The First Tee of Orange County Vice President Al Morris, “We are grateful that these golf industry giants are supporting our Pro-Am. Not only do we appreciate their donations but these brands, add credibility to the golf tournament.”
In addition to TaylorMade Adidas Golf, Callaway / Odyssey and Nike Golf, several other notable golf companies are contributing to the event as Supporting Sponsors: Bridgestone Golf, Cleveland Golf / Srixon, Cobra / Puma, and Ping. Corporate America is also contributing to the Pro-Am as Supporting Sponsors, they include; Aetna Behavioral Heath, EnerSys, and First American Title.

The First Tee of Orange County Pro-Am, sponsored by Roger Dunn Golf Shop, will be held at Tustin Ranch Golf Course on Friday, September 5, 2014. It begins with a shotgun start of 12:00pm. The Professionals will play in a stroke play format with a double bogey maximum on any hole. The format for amateurs will be a scramble. After tournament play, golfers will enjoy a cocktail reception, silent auction, and dinner. The individual amateur entrance fee is $400.00 which includes golf, gift bag, lunch, fully catered dinner and other special on- and off-course surprises throughout the day. The First Tee of Orange County impacts the young people in the Orange County community through its life skills education and character training. Each of these participants will be introduced to the lifelong sport of golf while learning skills such as goal-setting, managing emotions and resolving conflicts.
