SuperStroke’s Patented Parallel Technology Helps Roll In 4 More Tour Wins

Flatso Ultra grip helps Cherry Hills winner dominate field in Strokes Gained-Putting

WIXOM, Mich. – SuperStroke, the leading oversized grip company on tour, continued to show why it pays to play patented parallel technology. The fastest growing putter grips on tour helped four more professional players roll to victory this weekend. The wins at Cherry Hills, River Run, Moscow and in Quebec this weekend for SuperStroke follow the two victories on the senior tours the week prior.

“Six wins in two weeks is truly amazing,” said Jon Luna, SuperStroke Marketing Director. “It’s even more gratifying to see that tour players continue to rely on SuperStroke grips to consistently perform at such a high level. SuperStroke grips are definitely tour tested and tour proven.”

SuperStroke’s unique parallel design allows for even pressure in both hands, while eliminating added tension in the wrist and forearms. This helps the golfer’s arms swing more freely, which further enhances a pendulum-putting stroke.

Putting played an integral role for the winner of the third leg of the season-ending playoff tournament at Cherry Hills Village, Colorado. With the help of SuperStroke’s Flatso Ultra grip, the victor dominated the field in putting finishing with a total of 11.902 Strokes Gained-Putting. He gained an average of three strokes per round. The Strokes Gained-Putting stat was introduced to the tour in 2011 and has been viewed by players and experts alike as the most accurate, meaningful way to portray player putting efficiency. The winner was so hot with the flat stick that he also did not miss a putt within 5 feet all week. He finished the tournament ranked sixth in Putts Per Greens in Regulation with a 1.673 average.

The winner at the professional tour event at River Run used SuperStroke’s Mid Slim 2.0 and Odyssey Tank Cruiser putter combination to capture his second career tour win. He finished tied for 5th in Putts Per GIR with a 1.667 average.

On senior tour in Europe, the winner in Moscow made it back-to-back victories and ran his total to four wins on the season with the help of SuperStroke’s 17-inch Slim putter grip. He won the Moscow tournament by two strokes and leads the European senior tour Order of Merit with a total of $787,216 in earnings this season.

At the men’s professional tour event in Switzerland, the second place finisher came up just short in a playoff using SuperStroke’s 15-inch Mid Slim 2.0 and Odyssey putter combo. He completed the tournament ranked first in Putts Per GIR with a 1.558 average and was ranked fourth in Putts Per Round with a 27 average.

On the U.S. senior tour, the winner of the Quebec City event used SuperStroke’s 15-inch Mid Slim 2.0 grip and Odyssey putter combination to roll in an eight-foot putt on the final hole for his first win on the senior tour. He shot a 29 on the back nine of the final round to win by one stroke.
