Orlando, Fla. – The North Florida PGA wraps up their tournament season with its final Major Championship on September 16-18 at Reunion Resort in Orlando. PGA Professionals will compete in the 54-hole competition on the Watson Course. The NFPGA Section Championship will kick off with the National Car Rental Pro Am on Monday, September 15. The Top 40 NFPGA Professionals in the Player of the Year standings will compete with an amateur in this fun day of golf and camaraderie. Amateurs will get to play with the best of the best NFPGA players such as Rod Perry, a back to back PGA Professional Player of the Year. Rod played in the 2014 PGA Championship along with David Hronek who will also be in the field. Another exciting event is the Million Dollar Hole in One Shootout sponsored by Global Golf Sales following round two on Wednesday. All NFPGA players who played in all 4 majors will be eligible for a shot at a million dollars! Reunion Resort will be set up for a major championship as if it were a televised event! Media and spectators are invited to come on out and watch some great golf. These guys and gals can play too! A Champion will be crowned in the Regular, Senior and Legends Divisions following the final round on Thursday, September 18 along with our 2014 NFPGA Player of the Year.
