10 Troon golf-affiliated courses named to esteemed list; 38 named in state-by-state ranking
Scottsdale, Ariz. (September 12, 2014) – Golf Magazine’s raters have spoken and Troon,® the leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing congratulates its affiliated courses that have been named as the “Top 100 You Can Play” for 2014.
Featured in Golf Magazine’s September issue, both Kapalua’s Plantation course and Troon North Golf Club’s Pinnacle course maintained their top 25 positions on the biennial rankings. As Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club prepares to open #MiniDunes, an innovative six-hole par three course incorporated into their driving range, the club also managed to make a positive move on the ranking board to secure the 86th position. The Quarry course at Giants Ridge Golf & Ski Resort and the North course at Lake of Isles also improved their own positions among the country’s “Top 100 Courses You Can Play.” Golf Magazine’s “Best Courses Near You” ranking also recognized an impressive number of 38 Troon affiliated courses among the best in their respective states.
