Sanford, FL – Shanshan Feng, using her RIFE Mr. Beasley putter, captured her fourth LPGA Tour title this past Sunday when she rallied to win the 2014 Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia Championship held at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club.
Feng started the final round of the tournament four strokes behind the leader but fired a bogey free round of 63 (8 under par), including a six hole stretch on the back nine where she recorded five birdies and an eagle, to capture a 3 stroke victory.
ShanShan Feng, became the first golfer from mainland China to win an LPGA event when she captured the Wegmans LPGA Championship in 2012. She’s been rolling a RIFE Mr. Beasley putter ever since and has now collected career earnings of $5,195,313.50 and currently sits at #5 in the LPGA’s Rolex Rankings.
“All of us at RIFE would like to congratulate ShanShan on this latest victory and another great season on the LPGA Tour,” said Kyle Ulrikson, RIFE’s LPGA TOUR Rep. “It was so exciting to see her rally from four strokes off the lead and blow by the leader on the back nine. She’s amazing!”
Feng is just one of the many non-endorsed Professional Tour Players who choose to play a RIFE putter even though they’re not paid to play it. “The Tour Players play our putter because it helps them earn a bigger paycheck on Sunday,” said Kyle Ulrikson, Tour Rep for RIFE Golf, “and we’re very proud of that. Our RollGroove Technology grips and lifts the ball into an instant forward roll and gets it on line and headed towards the cup quicker than any other putter in the industry. If it’s good enough for the best golfers in the world you can bet it’s going to help you sink more putts as well.”
About RIFE Golf
RIFE Golf is the true innovator behind horizontal grooved face putter technology with a patent on specifically sized grooves since 1997. These precisely spaced grooves allow the putter to gently press into the cover of the ball and grip and lift it into an instant forward roll. RIFE states, “just as grooves in irons help control spin so do grooves in a putter face.” Other companies are now trying to imitate this patented technology but the spacing of the grooves is the true key to the gripping and lifting effect of grooved
face putter technology. Horizontal RollGrooveTM faced putters create the truest “no skid” roll in golf no matter where you hit the ball on the putter face.
