HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (Oct. 16, 2014) – David Feherty, host of the critically acclaimed Golf Channel Series, Feherty, was awarded “Best Host Talk Show” at the 2014 Cablefax Program Awards, held Tuesday in Los Angeles, Calif.
Feherty – who also was nominated for an Emmy Award earlier this year for Outstanding Sports Personality – has interviewed celebrities across golf, sports and entertainment on his show, including former President Bill Clinton, basketball Hall-of-Famers Bill Russell and Charles Barkley, actors Don Cheadle and Samuel L. Jackson, and golfers Tom Watson and Greg Norman. Feherty originally debuted in June 2011 as the most-watched original series in Golf Channel history. All-new Feherty episodes return to Golf Channel’s schedule on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 10 p.m. ET.
