Alexandria, VA – October 29, 2014 – The Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) is pleased to announce that registration is now open for its 88th World Conference on Club Management and Club Business Expo. The 2015 event will take place in San Antonio, TX, at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter and Riverwalk and the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center from March 8-12.
The Conference offers club management professionals from around the world the opportunity to participate in education sessions and peer networking events as well as to preview the latest products and services available in the industry at the two-day Club Business Expo.
Most notably, this year’s event will include more than 70 education sessions addressing the complex challenges facing today’s club management professionals. Attendees will have the opportunity to attend full-day Pre-Conference workshops, as well as 90-minute sessions and round-table discussions.
General Sessions will showcase educator, consultant, businessman and philanthropist Dr. Nido Qubein; football coach and subject of the Academy Award-winning documentary, Undefeated, Bill Courtney; and former NFL star, ESPN analyst and cancer survivor Merril Hoge.
New features to this year’s event will include:
• The Presidential Track – Designed specifically to showcase the level of knowledge and professionalism of clubs managers while educating board members on industry best practices on governance, collaboration and leadership, this track will offer a full day of dedicated educational opportunities.
• City and Yacht Club Concentrations – CMAA will provide educational programming geared specifically towards managers of city and yacht clubs. These sessions were developed in cooperation with city and yacht club managers to meet the unique needs of the managers of these specific club types.
