(KAUA’I, Hawaii) – The Kaua’i Visitors Bureau-led destination cooperative – “Kaua’i: Discover Golf’s Ultimate Island Green” – embraces golfers escaping to its tropical courses this fall with new packages and special events.
Featuring peak-season conditions virtually year-round, the “Garden Isle” is home to some of Hawaii’s most highly-praised golf courses.
Select specials at Kaua’i courses include the following:
Puakea Golf Course Fit Club: One of the most unique golf programs in the country, participants pay $50 per month for unlimited play any day after 3:30 p.m. so long as they walk. This popular special is ideal for fitness enthusiasts or amateur golfers looking to only play a handful of holes at a time.
Kaua’i Lagoons Golf Club Hana Hou Discount: Meaning “to do again,” “Hana Hou” guests receive special green fees ($95 per golfer) and club rental ($35 per golfer) rates on their second and subsequent rounds within one week of playing their first round.
Poipu Bay Golf Course “Practice & Play”: “: For golfers looking to take their practice game to some of the finest golf holes on Kaua’i, guests receive range balls and access to the on-site practice facility and can play the first three holes for $25, including cart. This offer is available daily for check-in times between 3 and 4 p.m.
In addition to the numerous specials at these courses, two other Kaua’i courses are hosting upcoming events at their esteemed locations:
Veterans Day at Prince Course: On Nov. 11, all active and retired military play the Prince Course at Princeville Golf Club for free when accompanied by a paying golfer. In addition to golf at one of Hawaii’s best courses, lunch and dinner specials are available at Roy Yamaguchi’s Tavern Restaurant.
Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational: Princeville Makai Golf Club and the University of Hawaii Warriors host the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational, Nov. 4-6. Featuring defending champion Baylor University, nationally ranked Mississippi State and Pac-12 power Arizona State, the event will determine which program has island bragging rights.
