ORLANDO, Fla. (Nov. 3, 2014) – Golfweek, a leader in college golf coverage, will host the “Golfweek Coaches Forum” as the closing session of the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) National Convention, which will be held Dec. 8-10 at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. Moderated by Golfweek College Editor Lance Ringler, this dedicated forum will bring together decorated golf coaches from across the country not only to share the strategies they use in managing their programs but also field questions from conference attendees.
“I am excited to be a part of this forum,” said Ringler. “Part of my daily routine is talking to college golf coaches about a variety of topics surrounding the sport. This is something I feel honored to be involved with, and I look forward to working with the GCAA to create an environment that will help continue to grow the sport.”
Golfweek Coaches Forum panelists include:
• Jay Seawell, University of Alabama
• John Fields, University of Texas
• Herb Page, Kent State University
• Jimmy Stobs, Barry University
“The GCAA is excited to host some of the best coaching minds in college golf for the Golfweek Coaches Forum,” said GCAA President Conrad Ray. “All coaches can learn from this group about winning championships, recruiting around the world and running top-level programs across all divisions.”
