LAKE MARY, FL – Jamison Golf Group has hired Kimberly Blanc as its Chief Facilitator. The Florida State University graduate replaces Michelle Maier, who moved to Atlanta recently.
Blanc’s chief responsibility will be to oversee the facilitation of all member benefits programs of the International Network of Golf (ING), the non-profit networking organization that JGG manages. She will serve as Membership Coordinator, handle membership renewals, oversee the ING Media and Industry Honors awards programs, and assist in planning and conducting ING conferences, events and more.
Blanc double majored, earning a Bachelors of Science in Hospitality Management and in Business Marketing from Florida State University.
Post graduation, Blanc had an opportunity to move to St. Andrews, Scotland for an internship at the Fairmont Resort. “The people and experience was great, but the weather was a tad too cold for a Floridian,” Blanc says. After the internship, she returned to Orlando and plans to stay in the sunshine for a while.
Her interests include traveling and the Florida State Seminoles. Blanc says, “My main goal in life is to travel to each continent.” She only has three more to go. “But while the adventures are on pause, I will keep traveling to Tallahassee to cheer on my team,” she says.
“I am excited to be in the golf industry, and maybe I will even learn how to play,” said Blanc, who will draw on multiple experiences in the hospitality industry to assist her in the golf business.
“It’s great to be a part of Jamison Golf Group and ING,” she added. “I look forward to meeting all the ING members and plan to become a positive asset to the team.”
“We are thrilled to have Kimberly as the newest member of our staff,” said JGG President and ING Executive Director Mike Jamison. “Her eagerness to learn and grow will be great assets. I am certain our ING members will appreciate her enthusiasm and professionalism.”
