The month of October has been a sensational one for Druh Belts and Buckles. The brand kicked off the month with its “Shop Pink. Save Lives” campaign in support of Breast Cancer Awareness and capped off the month with a huge win on the PGA Tour.
Druh joined so many other great brands in the fight against Breast Cancer during October making a donation to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) for every pink belt sold to Pro Shops and at www.druhbeltsandbuckles.com. Druh also distributed pink belts and buckles to PGA Tour players enabling them to help raise awareness for a disease that will effect an estimated one in eight women during their lifetime.
“All of us have known someone impacted by breast cancer – a mother, an aunt, a sister or a friend. To fight this terrible disease, it is critical we continue to raise funds for research and awareness throughout the entire year,” said Druh USA President Kerry Vail. Druh USA is continuing the “Shop Pink. Save Lives.” program on a year around basis and stands ready to support Rally for the Cure and other special events with pink tournament gifts and prizes.
One of, if not the, most prestigious collegiate events of the year also showcased Druh Betls & Buckles, as the brand continued its support of the Tavistock Collegiate Invitational for the fourth year in a row. This year’s event was held at the beautiful Lake Nona Golf and Country Club, and Druh was on hand to pass out custom collegiate logoed buckles along with handmade leather straps to each of the teams. Many of the players sized their new strap right on the range and proudly sported their school pride, courtesy of Druh.

Finally, a birdie on the second extra hole at the McGladrey Classic gave Druh a signature win on the PGA Tour. The champion made 10 birdies on the day, making up a five shot deficit to earn a spot in the three-man playoff. After a nerve wracking 90 minute wait, the winner fired a laser 8 iron approach the to the 17th hole on the Seaside Course at Sea Island Golf Club, securing his first PGA Tour win and a spot in the 2015 Masters.
