Troon launches new access programs to members like the Troon Advantage Program
Hot Springs Village, Ark. (November 12, 2014) – Hot Springs Village, nestled in the foothills of Arkansas’ Ouachita Mountains, proudly announces the appointment of Ray Metz as director of golf over its eight world-class golf courses. The welcoming of Metz to the community also marks the official launch of Troon access programs available to all members of Hot Springs Village, like the popular Troon Advantage Program.
Metz arrives to Hot Springs Village with an immense level of experience after more than 30 years in resort and country club golf management. His highly esteemed career includes leadership positions charged with developing and opening both domestic and international golf facilities and he most recently served as general manager of the Troon Privé-managed Knollwood Country Club in Michigan. Before returning to the United States in 2010 to open and manage Conestoga Golf Club in Nevada, Metz held international roles for Troon in Spain, Dubai and Mexico.
“I am thrilled at the opportunity to contribute and build upon the great reputation of Hot Springs Village,” said Metz. “Working to exceed the expectations of our members and guests while finding creative solutions to improve upon a community that has already reached levels of high acclaim is a challenge I am excited to pursue.”
Members of Hot Springs Village now enjoy several special Troon benefits like the Troon Advantage Program. Through the Troon Advantage Program, Hot Spring Village members and up to three of their guests have access to special rates at participating Troon-managed facilities worldwide. Troon Advantage rates are available at world-class facilities like Troon North Golf Club in Arizona and Kapalua in Hawaii, as well as golf resorts in exciting destinations like Australia, Greece, Scotland, Spain and the United Arab Emirates to name a few.
