BOURBON, MO – November 20, 2014 – Imperial Headwear is happy to become the official headwear of the 2015 Jones Cup Invitational. The Jones Cup takes place January 30 – February 1, 2015 at Ocean Forest Golf Club in Sea Island, GA.
The Jones Cup was born from a deep commitment to amateur golf by the A.W. Jones family, who founded The Cloister and Sea Island Golf Club. First contested in 2001 as a precursor to the Walker Cup, the Jones Cup was an opportunity to celebrate the game of golf as well as the camaraderie and fellowship associated with it. The Jones Cup brings together many of the finest amateurs from the United States and abroad. Its success and popularity has been attributed to the strength of the player field. Past participants include current PGA TOUR stars like Luke Donald, Rickie Fowler, Lucas Glover, Dustin Johnson, Chris Kirk, Webb Simpson, Brandt Snedeker, Bubba Watson, Harris English, Patrick Reed, Jordan Spieth and Kyle Stanley.
