Louisville, KY (November 2014) – Bionic Gloves®, golf’s leading glove technology company, continues to aid in the growth of women’s golf with the renewal of its sponsorship with the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA). The partnership, now entering its fourth year, offers EWGA members a custom Bionic glove designed for the nuances of women’s hands, while giving back part of the proceeds to support women in golf.
“Bionic Gloves is a leader in the golf industry with its commitment to women’s golf,” said Ashley Nelson, EWGA’s Director of Business Development. “Along with designing and manufacturing gloves that make it easier for women to play the game, Bionic has created a great way to provide financial support for issues important to women’s golf.”
Through the sponsorship, Bionic will continue to sell a custom Bionic® PerformanceGrip™ glove with a magnetic ball marker that features the EWGA logo. A portion of the sales from that glove will again go to the EWGA. Bionic says the partnership with EWGA is important because it connects the company to women who are enthusiastic about golf and who promote the growth of the sport.
“EWGA advocates positive change on issues that are important to women’s golf. We’re proud to renew our partnership and be a part of that again,” said Cheryl Fink, marketing director of Bionic Gloves. “We’re honored to have this opportunity to keep growing our relationship with EWGA and its members, while making them aware of the benefits of Bionic Gloves.”
Bionic’s PerformanceGrip glove is the most feature-rich glove ever made and took more than three years of design and testing to get ready for market. The EWGA glove is customized specially for members of the organization, with the EWGA logo on the magnetic ball marker. Purchase of this custom logoed glove is available only to EWGA members.
“Our members love the customized EWGA glove because it makes a statement about who they are as women golfers,” Nelson said. “This is an exciting time for EWGA, and our relationship with Bionic has helped to contribute to our growing success.”
