Golf, IL – DECEMBER 2, 2014 – Special holiday ticket packages are now available for the 2015 BMW Championship at Conway Farms Golf Club in Lake Forest, Illinois, the Western Golf Association has announced.

The 2015 BMW Championship will bring a field of the top 70 players in the PGA TOUR’s FedExCup Playoffs to Conway Farms Golf Club from Sept. 14-20. The top 30 finishers at the BMW Championship will move on to the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola, where the FedExCup winner earns $10 million in prize money.

Each package includes two tournament round ground tickets, two lanyards and ticket sleeves, and a voucher valid for a 10% discount on merchandise at the tournament. The price for each package varies by tournament round. The Thursday and Friday holiday packs are available for $90 each. The Saturday and Sunday holiday packs may be purchased for $100 each.

Upon purchase, patrons also will receive an email certificate that can be given as a gift. The holiday ticket packages are only available through December 31, 2014.

“The response from Chicagoland golf fans since our ticket launch this fall has been tremendous,” said Vince Pellegrino, WGA senior vice president. “Given the overwhelming support we have received so far and the popularity of the 2013 BMW Championship at Conway Farms, we expect these holiday ticket packages to sell out quickly. They are a great value and a perfect holiday gift for any golf fan.”

To order your holiday ticket package today, visit www.BMWChampionshipUSA.com or call 847-724-4600. General parking and shuttle service to/from the tournament is complimentary and included in the ticket price.

All net proceeds from the BMW Championship benefit the Evans Scholars Foundation, which funds college scholarships for caddies. Since 2007, the BMW Championship has raised more than $16 million for the Evans Scholarships, helping hundreds of caddies from modest means earn their college degrees.

About the BMW Championship

The BMW Championship dates back to 1899 when it debuted as the Western Open, making it the third-oldest tournament on the PGA TOUR schedule, behind only the British Open and U.S. Open. BMW has sponsored the tournament since 2007 when it became the penultimate event of the PGA TOUR’s FedExCup Playoffs. The BMW Championship features a field of 70 players to determine the final 30 players for the FedExCup finale at the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola in Atlanta. All net proceeds from the BMW Championship benefit the Evans Scholars Foundation, which grants full college scholarships to deserving young caddies. Since BMW became title sponsor, the tournament has contributed more than $16 million to the Evans Scholars Foundation.
