Counter Balanced Grip Technology Provides Superior Consistency and Control
(SCOTTSDALE, AZ) – Boccieri Golf’s Secret Grip swing grips, which use counter balance technology to provide improved stability, consistency and control, were used by the winner of the Australian PGA. Relying on the 92-gram Secret Grip swing club grips on his driver and irons, the champion won in an exciting seven hole playoff.
The added weight of the Secret Grip is achieved via a proprietary tungsten weight in the butt-end, combined with a rubber compound 40-percent heavier than standard. These elements combine to raise the club’s balance point and force players to use their larger, more stable muscles. The result is a highly repeatable and reliable stroke.
“We’ve been touting the benefits of counter weighting for 10 years,” said Stephen Boccieri, President and CEO of Boccieri Golf. “It’s great to see the best players in the world use our counter balanced technology and win!”
Since its introduction in 2013, professionals using the Secret Grip swing club and/or putter grips have finished in the Top-10 23 times with two of them being first place winners,, earning more than $4.6 million in prize money. The Secret Grip is also endorsed by famed teacher Rick Smith, who consistently ranked as one of the Top 10 Instructors in the world.
The 2014/15 Secret Grip product line-up includes the original, midsize, cord and three color models in the swing grip category. The Secret Grip for Putters is available in three sizes – Tour Classic, Midsize and Jumbo. The products are carried at Dick’s Sporting Goods, Golf Galaxy, PGA TOUR Superstores and www.SecretGrip.com.
About Boccieri Golf
Founded in 2004 by Stephen Boccieri, the company’s popular Heavy Putter collection and Control Series line of full-swing products were the first to integrate counter balance principles. This unique approach to club design is proven to benefit golfers of all abilities, as strategically placed weight in the butt-end of the shaft produces a higher balance point for smoother, more repeatable swings from driver through putter.
The company opened a state-of-the-art Research and Performance Center at 15816 N. Greenway-Hayden Loop in Scottsdale in 2012. Coinciding with significant growth in demand for the entire Boccieri Golf portfolio, the 9,000-square-foot facility offers a variety of services, including custom club fitting, high-tech swing analysis and practice time on life-like simulators.
