Livingston, NJ – GolfHER announces a meet and greet with LPGA tour player and Golf Channel’s Big Break Florida Champion, Jackie Stoelting.
Owner and designer of GolfHER, Sarah Schultz is thrilled to announce LPGA player and Golf Channel’s Big 2014 Break Florida Champion Jackie Stoelting will be meeting and signing autographs for PGA Show visitors. Visit booth 4364 on Friday, January 23rd from 11am-12pm. Visors, totes and photos will be handed out.
“We are blessed to have Jackie on board for 2015. It was incredibly exciting outfitting her during the 2014 Symetra Tour season. Jackie is a true GolfHER. She is incredibly passionate about the game. Her “never give up” attitude lead her to land her dream of earning full time status on the LPGA tour. And while working together in 2014 was amazing we have so much more to look forward to in 2015.”
About GolfHER GolfHER debuted in 2013 and caught the eyes of Women’s Wear Daily where the brand was selected for the “Ones to watch” feature and chosen to display at the Emerging Designers Showcase at WWDMagic in Las Vegas. GolfHER was founded by owner and designer Sarah Schultz who grew up playing golf as a teen. “As much as I loved the game one of my biggest struggles was not my opening drive nerves but what to wear on the first tee. Retailers did not stock junior golf apparel. I tried sporting junior shorts but the nature of the “short” shorts typically led me back into the clubhouse for a wardrobe change into…”gasp” unflattering khakis. My apparel was appalling. It was around that time that I promised myself that I would create a fashion friendly golf clothing line.” Sarah is a competitive golfer which reflects in the functionality of GolfHER apparel. The clothing includes functional pockets because there is nothing more frustrating then having a cute outfit to play in but no place to put your tees and ball markers.
In booth 4364, GolfHER will be showcasing Spring and Summer/Fall 2015 collections. “There are so many new options for our customers in 2015”, states the designer. “Many of my merchandisers were asking for larger sizes and different lengths. We answered all of their requests by offering skorts in 3 lengths and increasing our size range on all pieces from XXS-XXL. We also lightened up our fabric weight and created tennis friendly apparel and tops and skorts as a part of our summer/fall tennis collection. Moving to tennis is a great addition to our brand as many wanted our looks for tennis as well”.
In keeping with the company theme Sarah encourages all merchandisers and players to share their wants and needs. “I strive to fill the gaps within the apparel market. This is a brand made by a GolfHER for GolfHERs. Each season I receive great feedback that I use to help build better products for my customers. This was a true task this year as I took on a role as a new mom as well. It has been an incredibly tough year balancing growth of the brand and my little guy. I have gained such appreciation for my mother and all parents. My core merchandisers have known me through my pregnancy and now hear my son in the background of our phone calls but I think that shows the uniqueness of my company. I am a true small business. When you stop by booth 4364 you will find “team mom” consisting of my mom and mother in law along with my best friend from childhood. You will find photos of my son and there will be hugs given to my merchandisers because they have help make my dream come true. They are family too. Like every year, I know the PGA Show will be busy with the big lights and storefront displays but if you have a moment to spare come visit us in 4364, on the main aisle. Become a little familiar with what GolfHER has to offer and together we can “lower those fashion handicaps.”
