Each event our FCG Staff will select ONE PLAYER who our staff saw demonstrate a great act of sportsmanship. We understand that many of the players do this all the time and we know we cannot recognize everyone. It is our mission to grow the game of golf in the most positive way is creating the most positive learning environment possible so all of our players become champions on and off the course.
Each Sportsmanship Award Winner will receive:
– ONE DOZEN CALLAWAY CHROME SOFT GOLF BALLS
– $50 Tournament Credit Towards your next FCG Tour Event
– Will be featured on the FCG WEBSITE
– Will be featured in our Email to College Coaches after every National and World Series Tournament
The first winner of the Award will come from the 8th Annual FCG San Diego Junior Amateur held Dec. 29, 2014 through January 4, 2015. Our first recipient of the Callaway FCG Sportsmanship Award will go to April Ranches from San Diego, CA. When our staff was polled at who should win this week’s award it was unanimous among all that she should win the first one. She always comes smiling, always wants to help out, always is respectful and gives 100% of herself. She is the most requested player to be paired with (even though we don’t honor these requests). It is a pleasure having her on our tour! Congratulations April Ranches!
