Tifosi Amps Up Sales Management, Creative Team For The New Year

Watkinsville, GA – Poised for a big 2015, Tifosi Optics, Inc. announces two new additions to its National Sales Management team, and a new Creative Director to head up Creative Development, Product Design, and Graphics. Brad Abbott joins the team as National Sales Manager for the Optics, RX and Outdoor markets. Adam Brim is the new National Sales Manager for Golf, Tactical/Shooting Sports, and General Sporting Goods markets. Heading up the Creative Department is Creative Director, Jorge Verdin.

“The Rx, Optics, & Tactical markets are relatively young for Tifosi, and we require expert sales management to focus on these key growth areas for the company,” remarked co-founder and CEO, Joe Earley, “In addition to sales, we have a much greater need for creative support and product design & development to meet the needs of these and other markets.”

Brad Abbott is a sunglass industry veteran with 20+ years of sales management experience working with brands Ray-Ban, Bolle, Serengeti, Rudy Project, and Costa del Mar, where he rose in the ranks to become the VP of the Rx Department. Consulting in the eyewear industry in the recent past has added to Abbott’s background and experience.

Adam Brim returns to Tifosi, where he originally held sales management positions in the early growth years of the company. After years as an independent sales representative and a sales agency partner specializing in Golf, Brim will now head sales management for Tifosi’s successful Golf and newly launched Tactical/Shooting Sports divisions. Brim has a wealth of experience with over 15 years working in the Golf and Optical Industries.

Rounding out the new team is Jorge Verdin, Tifosi’s new Creative Director. Verdin’s impressive background in the optics industry includes the position of Sr. Marketing Director for Under Armour sunglasses and football helmet visors from inception to launch to current share of the sunglass market. He created and launched Anarchy and Angel Eyewear into the surf/skate market, and served on the design team for Stüssy Eyegear.

Says Verdin, “Tifosi Optics is positioned perfectly for multiple channels in the sunglass industry. They offer quality sunglasses that tell a performance story with multiple options and a value driven retail price point. An Rx component is also offered that will make Tifosi an undeniable force in the Optical, Cycling, Running, Golf, Outdoor and Sporting Goods channels. Abbott, Brim and Verdin will join Tifosi at the upcoming PGA Merchandise Show, the SHOT Show, Vision Expo East, and SECO shows in early 2015.
