About the Long Drive Professionals:
Eric Lunt: Lunt is new to the Long Drive Tour. In the summer of 2012, Lunt was recording ball speeds of over 200 mph and that was with a standard driver. His golf professional persuaded him to pursue the sport of Long Drive. His degree in Athletic Sports Training and profession in Physical Therapy helps him build maximum club head and ball speed through highly specialized training. Look for him to capture a LDA title soon as he was a finalist at the 2013 ReMax Long Drive Desert Launch and Regional Qualifier at the ReMax Long Drive Region 12 &13.
Bobby Peterson: Peterson’s name is highly regarded on the LDA. His accomplishments are many including ownership of the One Stop Power Shop where he builds and develops clubs for his fellow Long Drive Professionals. In addition, he is known as a pretty influential golf coach too. His Long Drive career began in 1992 and has seized two notable LDA finishes; 3rd place at the 2013 ILDC in the Senior Division and 2nd place at the 2014 Bash for Cash in the Senior Division.
Jeff Crittenden: Crittenden finished the 2014 LDA Season with a career high and in dramatic fashion. He reached the finals, now known as the Las Vegas 8, and became a media magnet. GOLF Magazine coined him as the “Cinderella” story of the LDA as he won his quarterfinal match against Matt Hangar by one yard then defeated World Champion Joe Miller also by one yard but his story tale finish left him 13-inches short. His 365-yards, 7-inches last drive was 13-inches shorter than Jeff Flagg’s 365-yards, 20-inch drive. A great finish for a Mini-Tour Professional Golfer who didn’t want to compete anymore. He was seen on The Golf Channel during the month of November.
Team Catalyst / Connor Powers: Powers is a former professional and collegiate baseball player who has recently joined the Catalyst Long Drive Team. Within months of programming, and training he advanced to the Vegas 8 at the 2014 World Long Drive Championship. Catalyst is confident he has great potential to a world-class Long Drive competitor and his results in the 2014 World Long Drive Championship validates this.
Eric Jones: Jones is a complete golfer – a collegiate golfer from Stanford, 2-time World Long Drive Champion, 2004 LDA Tour Rookie of the Year and one of the top golf instructors on the West Coast, recently named Northern California PGA Teacher of the Year. His Academy at the Bridges in San Ramon, CA is recognized as one of the top coaching academies in Northern CA. On the LDA, he is the ONLY golfer to win the Open Division and Senior Division titles in the same tournament at the Players Tour Long Drive Championship.
Rob Tiettmeyer: Tiettmeyer might be new to the sport of Long Drive but his accomplishments are many. In 2012, he reached the Re/Max World Long Drive Championship and battled through to the sixth round where he recorded his longest career drive of 453-yards. In 2013, Tiettmeyer enjoyed a third place finish at the North Carolina Championship Development Tour, and qualified for the 2013 ReMax Championship through the “Winners Bracket.” A plethora of Top-10 finishes round out his impressive LDA career.

HIRZL Golf Gloves are the #1 Golf Glove for the sport of long drive. These LDA Professionals understand the importance of the grip and how it affects the only contact point between the hand and golf club – again, the only contact point. “These golfers who specialize in distance are not the only professionals who use HIRZL. PGA and LPGA Professionals also play HIRZL Golf Gloves but even more important, amateur and recreational golfers use HIRZL Golf Gloves for the same reason as the golf professionals.
About HIRZL:
HIRZL, headquartered in Switzerland, with North American operations based in Granbury, TX, is a leading specialist for high performance sports gloves. HIRZL’s focus is solely on gloves with products specifically designed for golf and cycling, which is in contrast to many sports manufacturers with wide ranges of products spanning equipment, shoes and fashion. HIRZL’s gloves are designed with the latest scientific, technical and ergonomic mechanics data on how sports equipment is used on the hands. The company philosophy is based upon the firm belief that gloves are an essential part of the equipment for many types of sports. When gloves are used in sports, they become the only true link between the hands of the sportsperson and their equipment.
HIRZL Gloves Manufactured for the “Ultimate Glove Experience:”
HIRZL manufactures their high performance gloves with only the finest genuine leather, natural kangaroo or cabretta leather which has been additionally tanned with a propriety technology. The leather is individually stretched by hand and table cut, effectively ensuring the direction of stretch is controlled in each piece. For ventilation comfort a membrane directs the airflow and breathability characteristics to create a micro-environment for the skin to breathe more easily. The stretch fit feature provides a strategically based perfect fit and wearing comfort. All HIRZL gloves are constructed with a 45-degree “Pre-curved finger system” in consideration to the natural curvature of the hand and to avoid bunching effects and guarantee a perfect fit. For addition comfort, a sweat band made with terry towel absorbs sweat and water at the wrist area which also has a warming effect when temperatures are low.
