Limited edition irons, wedge highlight 2015 offerings
IRVINE, Calif. (Jan. 15, 2014) – Poised to celebrate its 10th anniversary of operations in the U.S., Fourteen Golf will participate in the PGA Merchandise Show Jan. 20-23 in Orlando, Fla. Fourteen will showcase its products at the Outdoor Demo Day at Orange County National Golf Center on Jan. 20, as well as at the show at the indoor hitting bays at the Orange County Convention Center.
“From the success of our clubs on the professional level to their popularity among everyday golfers, we are excited about the growth of Fourteen Golf and looking forward to celebrating 10 remarkable years,” said Marcy Kamoda, the COO of Fourteen Golf. “This year, as we honor that milestone, we are rolling out new clubs that incorporate the best technology on the market with the sleek design that has made Fourteen a fan favorite in the industry.”
Fourteen also will have Ryuji Imada, one of its professional brand ambassadors, at the show to greet fans and demonstrate the various new clubs for 2015 on the morning of Jan. 21. Imada, who has three professional victories under his belt, is one of only four Japanese-born players to win a tournament on the PGA TOUR.
Fourteen will be showcasing a host of new clubs at the PGA Merchandise Show, including the LE-10 irons and wedge. Crafted as a limited edition series to celebrate the company’s 10th anniversary in the U.S., the LE-10 irons are classically inspired, suiting players of various skill levels. With a club sole that is wider than many irons, the LE-10 irons feature a larger sweet spot and offer forgiveness and consistency.
The LE-10 wedge boasts exceptional spin control, with its expanded grooves being mirror milled to help maximize spin regardless of the lie or playing conditions. The “reverse muscle-back” design helps to deliver enhanced stability throughout the swing.
The LE-10 irons list for $899.99, while the LE-10 wedge lists for $149.99 each or $449.99 for a three-wedge set (52, 56/10 and 60).
Also being showcased at the PGA Merchandise Show is the Type 7 utility iron, which was in play for one of the hottest players during the FedEx Cup Playoffs, leading to eight Top 10 finishes on the season, including the final two tournaments of the playoffs. The Type 7 features a uniquely shaped hollow structure and small club head that has a low center-of-gravity to improve launch and maximize ball speed.
The Type 7 lists for $279.99.
The TC888 irons are Fourteen’s newest forged series, utilizing a muscle-back iron with a half-cavity club head design. This bolsters the distance for the long irons, while also yielding exceptional spin control throughout the series.
The TC888 lists for $1,199.99.
In all, Fourteen Golf will be showcasing 11 men’s clubs and four women’s offerings at the PGA Merchandise Show.
