ORLANDO, Fla. – Women in the Golf Industry (WIGI), a leading golf business networking organization for women, is pleased to announce that PGA of America Secretary Suzy Whaley will be the featured guest at the association’s annual reception held in conjunction with the 62nd PGA Merchandise Show at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. The gathering will take place on Wed. January 21 from 4:00-6:30 p.m., in the PGA Show’s Media Center-Room 312-C.
Whaley, who is also a WIGI member, is president of Suzy Whaley Golf and last November was elected secretary for the PGA of America. She is the first woman to attain a national officer position in PGA history, an Association which was founded in 1916. In addition to her membership with the PGA of America, Whaley is a member of the Ladies Professional Golf Association Teaching & Club Professional Division.

In additional to a Q&A session with Suzy, the association will take the opportunity to unveil its newly-formed speakers bureau, a virtual resource center for businesses, organizations, and educational institutions interested in securing quality speakers on topics related to golf and business as well as other timely topics.
