WINTER PARK, FLA. (Jan. 19, 2015) – Global Golf Post, the world’s first digital-only golf news publication, has named its first ever All-Pro Teams, recognizing on-course head golf professional excellence. A total of 50 golf professionals across the country were recognized in a multi-page feature in the January 19 issue of The Post.
As a part of the multi-page feature in the December 1 issue, The Post named Oakmont Country Club and Seminole Golf Club head golf professional Bob Ford as its “Pro’s Pro,” recognizing several decades of competitive excellence by the man many consider to be the “Dean” of American on-course golf professionals.
“The U.S. head golf professional doesn’t get the recognition he deserves for maintaining a high level competitive golf game while attending to all the other aspects of his job. We thought the time had come to provide national recognition to these hard working golfers who do so much for the game of golf,” said Jim Nugent, founder and publisher.
