MEMPHIS, Tenn. (January 20, 2014) – True Temper’s Dynamic Gold scored another PGA TOUR victory in Hawaii this past weekend at the Sony Open.
The Sony Open champion defended his 2014 title and scored an impressive win after placing second at last week’s Hyundai Tournament of Champions. With Dynamic Gold in his irons, he played a bogey-free final round on Sunday that also included seven birdies and closed with 11 consecutive one-putts. The win is his fourth PGA TOUR career victory and places him first in the FedEx Cup points.
“Dynamic Gold is off to a good start with back-to-back victories in Hawaii,” said David Walker, senior director of sales and global tour operations for True Temper Sports. “It is exciting to see the Sony Open champ win for the second time at this tournament and his final round on Sunday was nothing short of impressive.”
