Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course adds to Troon’s growing presence in New York
Scottsdale, Ariz. (January 29, 2015) – Troon,® the leader in upscale golf course management, development, and marketing is pleased to announce it has been selected to manage The Golf Club at Mansion Ridge in Monroe, N.Y. Troon will oversee all aspects of the club, including golf operations, agronomy, revenue management, food and beverage, special events, sales and retail.
Located at the foothills of the Catskill Mountains in the highlands of Hudson Valley, The Golf Club at Mansion Ridge features an 18-hole, par 72 Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course that is rated four stars on Golf Digest’s “Places to Play” list. The course sits on a historic 220-acre site with landmarks that predate the American Revolution and boasts many historic structures, adding to the charm and character of the property.

Troon will work with the ownership of Mansion Ridge to direct a significant capital investment designed to enhance and reinvigorate both the golf course and the clubhouse. Enhancements will include an expansive interior renovation of the clubhouse including updated flooring, furnishings, fixtures, new menu concepts, along with the renovation of the patio and outdoor dining areas to create new/additional dining experiences. Course enhancements will include the implementation of Troon’s proprietary agronomic programs that will improve playing conditions from tee to green. Additionally, capital will be infused to improve the cart paths, replace bridges throughout the course and bring to Mansion Ridge a new fleet of well-appointed golf carts.
