Leading sports technology company sees huge success at major industry tradeshow
ORLANDO, Fla. – January 30, 2015 -FlightScope, a world leader in the development and manufacturing of 3D Doppler club and ball tracking monitors, golf radars and launch monitors for sports, today announced that its success at this year’s PGA Merchandise Show was greater than any previous year in the company’s history.
FlightScope kicked off the 2015 show by hosting a revamped FlightScope Academy, which included special presentations from LPGA golfer Sandra Gal, Ph.D. in Sports Biomechanics Dr. Sasho MacKenzie, and the Golf Channel’s Michael Breed. This year’s Academy was completely sold out with 180 attendees on site to learn how to better utilize FlightScope’s technology as a club fitting and instruction tool.
“We were very excited to return to the PGA Merchandise Show in 2015 after a record setting show last year,” said Henri Johnson, founder and CEO of FlightScope. “The show has been instrumental for FlightScope’s growth, helping us form new relationships with customers and industry experts from around the world, and introducing our new products to thousands of golf professionals and enthusiasts.”
A highlight of the 2015 show for FlightScope was unveiling the newest addition to its suite of launch monitors. The x2 elite is the company’s most innovative launch monitor to date, featuring advanced accuracy in its interactive measurement and feedback, and developed to provide golf’s premier professionals with the most up to date training technology. Throughout the show FlightScope saw exceptional interest in the launch monitor, and received an unprecedented number of orders by the end of the week.
“This year could not have gone better with the response we saw from the industry after the inaugural demo of the x2 elite,” continued Johnson. “More than 3,000 shots and over 480,000 yards were tracked on FlightScope radars during the 2015 PGA Merchandise Show, giving hundreds of golfers the chance to truly experience and understand the FlightScope difference when it comes to using technology to improve their game.”
