February 5th, 2015 – Orem, UT – Clubs Anywhere, a division of Clearstone Sports Network, Inc. is pleased to introduce its service to the consumer. Born out of an idea to help the golfer attain his or her goal of golfing anywhere, the main objective is to grow participation levels around the world.
According to the founder, Jeff Gibbs, “We help prospective golfers get into the sport, give golfers the tools to get better, and provide fun ways for them to participate in the sport.”
The Clubs Anywhere marketplace has three major objectives:
1) Make it convenient and affordable for golf travelers to find, rent, and use high quality clubs wherever they go.
2) Provide a way for prospective and experienced golfers to “try before they buy” a new set of clubs.
3) Give golf equipment and service providers a way to expand their reach, increase their revenues, and develop customer loyalty.
As any golfer knows, the extra effort and cost of taking their clubs on vacation with them is not fun. There are companies that offer to ship your luggage (i.e. clubs) anywhere you would like, but ClubsAnywhere took the luggage idea one step further. With their new service, golfers don’t have to lug clubs through the airport, pay the airline or luggage company fee or worry about them getting damaged or lost in the process. Further, how often does a golfer get to try out the latest and greatest irons or driver on the market for 18 holes? With a variety of manufacturers available, like Callaway, TaylorMade, Titleist, Nike, Ping and Adams, Clubs Anywhere provides each golfer the opportunity to play where and when they want as well as experience new clubs for their game.
The process couldn’t be simpler. Log on to the website, choose the shafts that suit your game and commence to vacationing. The clubs will be delivered directly to your location. This allows each golfer to participate in the ClubsAnywhere mantra-rent, relax, golf!

About Clubs Anywhere
Founder, Jeff Gibbs, while working as the COO and CIO of a social sciences training organization, was also assisting his father on a product that helped golfers improve their golf swing. Although the product was very effective at generating results, it was only one of thousands of golf training products in the market. This experience did, however, spark an idea that would effectively create a strategy to help people get into the game, influence them to stay in, and help them play more often.
Once the new strategy was seared into his mind, it was impossible for him to stay where he was; he had to quit and start something new. Clearstone Sports Network, Inc. was formed. Gibbs kept an eye on the “Sharing Economy” to see if it would persist and gain traction. It became obvious that this new model, now called the “Collaborative Economy”, was here to stay. The goal is to help people get into the game and reduce barriers that were holding them back from playing. Additionally, it was well known that local golf shops, teaching professionals, and golf courses were losing money and some were going out of business. If only they could connect with the right people! The culmination of all these factors drove the development of Clubs Anywhere, a marketplace for golfers and suppliers to connect, share, and interact.
