PHOENIX (February 5, 2015) – Club-fitting pioneer and leader PING today announced its distinguished Top 100 National Fitters of the Year for 2014.

The recognition salutes those Authorized PING Fitters who have demonstrated the highest commitment to custom fitting and the promotion of its benefits to golfers of all abilities.

“We’re proud to recognize these fitters because they’ve shown an ongoing and sincere dedication to the vital hands-on work of helping golfers experience the benefits of custom-fit PING equipment firsthand,” said John A. Solheim, PING Chairman & CEO. “They seek out our industry-leading fitting technology and they take a vested interest in helping golfers hit the ball farther and straighter through their fitting expertise. Their dedication to the importance of fitting supports PING’s mission to make the game easier and more enjoyable for players of every ability level. In turn, we’ll continue to offer fitters the most current training and education practices along with innovative new fitting tools, software and research.”

PING offers certified fitting accounts multiple tools and software to dial in a more precise fit while making the process easy, cost-effective and convenient. They include the Advanced Fitting System (AFS), which features a new, lighter fitting cart for 2015 that provides improved flexibility and access to interchangeable drivers, irons and shafts. Proprietary software includes the iPING putter app (a free download on the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPod touch), nFlight, nFlight Mobile and nFlight Motion, an app created by PING developers to work with a SkyPro swing analyzer for recommending a driver model, loft and shaft after only three swings.

Winners were chosen based on points earned across several criteria, including custom orders, commitment to ongoing training, sustained sales growth, use of PING tools and technologies, and support of the entire PING product line.

PING, AFS, iPING, and nFlight are trademarks of Karsten Manufacturing Corporation in the U.S. and other countries. SKYPRO is a registered trademark of SkyHawke. Apple, iPhone and iPod are trademarks of Apple, Inc., registered in the U.S and other countries.
