(Palm Beach Gardens, FL) The Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA), The GOLF Community for Women, announced today they are now accepting new members for the 2015 season. EWGA Chapters across the country will be hosting their annual kick-off events and launching several new event opportunities including the EWGA Par 3 Challenge over the next two months.
“It’s an exciting year for us with the introduction of the EWGA Par 3 Challenge Series which features a women’s only division and a mixed team division,” says CEO Pam Swensen. “We will be converting 18-hole regulation Troon Golf Courses to shorter yardages to create the Par 3 experience. In addition, EWGA members will have access to many grassroots connections to play golf and elevate their game as well as a built in community of thousands of women who share similar interests. After all, we take having fun seriously! Come join us!”
EWGA is the largest women-focused amateur golf association in the U.S. with more than 100 chapters in major cities across the U.S. Membership includes access to affordable, fun, organized golf opportunities, travel and equipment discounts, local and national benefits while at the same time building a personal network of great connections and business relationships. Among the many benefits offered, all EWGA members can compete in several national tournaments, play at golf courses across the U.S. at special EWGA pricing and attend any and all domestic LPGA and Symetra Futures Tour events. Plus, take advantage of playing and learning opportunities in local communities across the country all year long.
“EWGA has connected more than 100,000 women through our organization by using the game of golf to create experiences and build connections in a friendly, fun environment,” says Swensen. “And I know there are many women who want to learn how to play and just don’t know where to get started. We want you to join us! Our core initiative is about welcoming more women into the game of golf, opening new doors and developing skills to help women succeed both on and off the course. What are you waiting for?”
