French Lick, IN – French Lick Resort, the world-class golf destination located in southern Indiana has expanded its professional golf staff with the addition of Jamie DeKeuster.
DeKeuster will be the Head Golf Professional at the Valley Links Course where he will oversee the resorts growing the game initiatives developing programming opportunities for women, juniors, and new golfers.
DeKeuster began his golf career as first assistant in his hometown of Racine, Wi., and more recently at Glen Oaks and Oxmoor Country Club in Louisville. He was recently awarded the Kentucky PGA Assistant of the Year, and has also served as a District Director for the Kentucky PGA Board of Directors. He was elected a Class A PGA Member in 2012 and he has already earned his PGA Certification in Golf Operations.
The Valley Links Learning Center, which DeKeuster will oversee, is the home for growing the game at French Lick Resort. The premier learning center is offers a variety of junior programs, including The First Tee events, as well as women’s clinics, Get Golf Ready programs, and FootGolf.
The Valley Links Course is a fun nine-hole parkland style layout designed by Tom Bendelow. The course features a walkable and open layout with classic green complexes that open in the front, perfect for all levels of play. Complimenting the golf is the double-ended practice facility featuring a well designed short game area, as well as an indoor learning center for the French Lick Golf Academy providing a wide variety of instruction including full swing, short game, video, and custom club fitting.
