(BRYAN, Texas) – Traditions – the private golf club and residential community nestled in the heart of the Brazos Valley – announces that it will extend stay-and-play packages in its cottages and casitas through March 31, 2015.
Starting at $249 based on double occupancy, the package includes an overnight stay in the on-site cottages and casitas, a round of golf on the esteemed Jack Nicklaus / Jack Nicklaus II signature design and full access to the Traditions Club and Community’s resort-style amenities. Additional golf rounds with a shared cart are available for $100 per guest.
“The stay and play packages offered at the beginning of the year were a huge success and provided many the rare opportunity to play a Jack Nicklaus designed layout in Texas,” says Bill Horton, Traditions Club and Community general manager. “With the course starting to bloom and the warmer weather, the month of March is an ideal time to visit the Traditions Club.”
Nicklaus and his son, Jack II, designed Traditions Club on rolling terrain that is quite uncommon for Southeast Texas. The par-72, 7,146-yard course meanders through a multitude of thick foliage and around serene natural water features. More than 100 feet of elevation change creates a true, Texas Hill Country atmosphere, while the Champions Ultradwarf greens exemplify the flawless playing conditions.
Situated within the Traditions Club and steps from the clubhouse and first tee, the cottages and casitas exude rustic sophistication. Available in two-, three- and four-bedroom models, the overnight accommodations are fully furnished with the comforts of home readily available.
Guests also have full access to the 21,000-square foot clubhouse, men’s and women’s locker rooms, a fully equipped fitness center and the Traditions Club and Community Grille and Pool Complex. Numerous dining options at the club include the 1876 Wine Cellar, Sully Dining Room and the Pool Grille.
Lodging accommodations and tee times at the Traditions Club and Community can be booked by calling 979.779.1007. Subject to availability, taxes are not included in the rate, and blackout dates and non-member tee time restrictions apply.
