Starting Time Announces Vendor Direct Program For My mini Golf.

Starting Time president, Hugh Penton has announced a golf club and retail golf store Vendor Direct sales program for the prize winning My mini Golf. The program for this popular golf training aid and a fun practice game for juniors, has found a growing market in homes as parents see the game as a fun way to get their kids into golf and would like the convenience of purchasing through their golf club pro shop.

Additionally, according to Penton, it has proven to be a fun adult game for evenings and parties. Since it can be played indoors or out, it has turned into an all-around game to be enjoyed by both family and friends and even used in tailgating parties on weekends. Under the Vendor Direct program the club pro shop can display a clear, acrylic holder on a counter or shelf (see picture), furnished by the company, with the four color catalogs/price sheets. The club member or guest can order from these and instead of having to carry the large carton home this will be sent by Fed Ex to their residence, from either of the company’s two fulfillment centers, in South Carolina or California directly to their homes or office. The club receives a discount of 30% on the order and net 30 day terms. They have no inventory expense or shipping costs under this plan, as Starting Time takes care of these costs. The market For My mini Golf is very large, according to Penton. They have found that many different types of customers are buying My mini Golf sets, from Senior Day Care Centers, to Boys and Girls Clubs. Getting kids back into golf is a very strong push at this time and Starting Time is fully involved in this with First Tee and a number of other Junior Golf programs here and in Canada.

Clubs or golf shops can sign on to get started with this program, whether or not they have already purchased a My mini Golf set or not. We welcome all pros that wish to have this item available for their members to contact us and they will be able to get started immediately, says Penton. This is also true with golf instructors and driving ranges as well. Let’s get more kids into golf is their motto these days.
