Future Champions Golf, one of the fastest growing junior golf programs worldwide has just launched the FCG Junior Golf World Rankings System sponsored by Callaway Golf.
Purpose of the New Rankings System
– Showcase the best players from around the World ages 15-18 (not younger)
– Develop a webpage featuring some of the biggest and best tournaments worldwide for junior golfers
– Provide opportunity for players who compete in these events to have their scores emailed to every USA College Coach
– Profiles of each Ranked Player are coming soon!
– Top 10 Boys and Top 10 Girls will receive a Free Callaway Driver
– Use rankings system as a qualifying system for Invitational and World Team Events
RANKINGS EXPLANATION
It is with great excitement that we announce the creation of the FCG World Rankings sponsored by Callaway Golf to the junior golf community. We feel the rankings system is fair and simple to understand and will feature less events than most rankings systems while giving everyone a chance to be a part of it.
• Players will be ranked based on their play at select events
• Updated player rankings will be emailed directly to every USA College Golf Coach after every event
• Calendar Year of Rankings January through December
• Will only rank the 15-18 Boys and 15-18 Girls Division (younger plays may play up if they choose to be included in these rankings)
• Top 10 Boys and Top 10 Girls will receive a brand new Callaway Driver!
• Top 10 points earners will be recognized as “Future Champions Golf All-World Team”
• All-World Team Members will be exempt into all future FCG Invitational and World Series Events for their entire junior career.
• The rankings will annually start and end with the San Diego Junior Amateur Championship which has become the premier junior golf event in the USA during winter break.
• FCG and Callaway Golf have the right to add events to the Rankings Calendar at any time.
Points Breakdown
• You can play as many events as you want but only your highest 5 ranked events will count.
• You will start earning points once you play in your first ranked event and finish in the top 20.
• Must play a minimum of 3 events and finish in the Top 10 to be Callaway All World Team

• 1st Place: 5000
• 2nd Place: 4000
• 3rd Place: 3000
• 4th Place: 2500
• 5th Place: 2000
• 6th Place: 1500
• 7th Place: 1000
• 8th Place: 750
• 9th Place: 500
• 10th Place: 250
• 11-15th Place: 200
• 16th-20th Place: 150
Currently there are 20 events included in the rankings and more will be added to the system. We are excited to have a strong US Platform and have added events from Canada, Mexico, Thailand, Philippines, Hawaii, Japan, and Australia.
