SuperStroke’s Flatso 1.0 Helps Arnold Palmer Invitational Champ Sink Key Birdie Putt For Win

WIXOM, Mich. – Relying on the patented parallel technology in SuperStroke’s Flatso 1.0 putter grip, the winner of the Arnold Palmer Invitational sank a 17-foot birdie putt on the final hole to win by one-stroke and successfully defend his tournament title. He carded a final round 66 en route to a 19-under-par 269.

During the tournament the winner used a combination of putters, but regardless of which putter he played, he had a SuperStroke grip on each of them.

SuperStroke’s Flatso 1.0 helped him finish the tournament ranked seventh in Putts per Greens In Regulation with a 1.655 average. He also ranked eighth in Strokes Gained Putting with a total of 4.906 strokes gained.

The Arnold Palmer Invitational victory makes it back-to-back wins for SuperStroke’s Flatso 1.0. Jordan Spieth won the Valspar Championship the week prior playing SuperStroke’s 1.0. Spieth ranks first in Putts per Round for the season with a 27.46 average, second in Putting Average with a 1.687, and eighth in Overall Putting Average with a 1.526 average.

The Flatso line features SuperStroke’s patented parallel design technology and a patent pending pentagonal shape and flat top design. The parallel technology allows for even pressure in both hands, while eliminating added tension in the wrist and forearms. This helps the golfer’s arms swing more freely, which further enhances a pendulum-putting stroke.

“The characteristics of the Flatso line help inhibit wrist action and promote shoulder rotation for added consistency in your putting stroke,” said Greg Sabella, SuperStroke Vice President of Marketing. “The pentagonal shape allows for increased repeatability and consistency due to its wider flat front and multiple edges. It gives players looking for the feel of a pistol grip option in the SuperStroke line.”

SuperStroke (www.superstrokeusa.com) grips are long lasting and extremely shock absorbent. They are designed with a high-tech polyurethane material featuring cross traction technology that improves feel and tackiness. Combined with SuperStroke’s patented parallel technology further increases consistency and lowers scores for every level of golfer, even professionals.
