Fujikura’s Technical Services Manager, John Hovis explains the back story to the custom fitting that contributed to the win. “This player came to us to optimize the performance of his driver/shaft combo. After we put him on the ENSO fitting system to collect pre and post impact swing data, we were able to determine that the toe on his current driver was closing too fast through the hitting zone. We fit him into our PRO series shaft and were able to decrease the toe rotation and keep the head more square through impact. ”
Hovis continued, ” He was so happy with the results that he requested a shaft for his 3 wood, so he also has a PRO series shaft in that club.”
