The Asia Pacific Golf Group (APGG) today commissioned the 2015 Asian Golf Trends and Profiles Survey. It will be a major milestone project that will map the golf landscape in the region as it relates to the demographics of golfers and their life-style.
The agency that has been commissioned to undertake this critical market research is the Singapore-based Align Group, a highly experienced agency that specializes in various forms research. It is highly regarded for its work in the implementation of effective people solutions, combining the knowledge of organisational development and business analytics.
Commenting on the commission, Mike Sebastian, chief executive officer of APGG said, “We have partnered with the Align Group because of its extensive experience with multi-nationals and local enterprises in projects related to manpower audit and surveys, cultural alignment, competency and rewards, leadership, and people analytics.”
The 2015 Asian Golf Trends and Profiles Survey is the first project of its kind undertaken in the region. “The project will commence within the next few weeks and we expect to unveil the findings of this historic industry research at the 2015 Asia Pacific Golf Summit in October,” said Jane Lee, chief executive officer and principal consultant at the Align Group.
“The golf industry in the region can expect to have a very thorough research document when this project is completed,” said Sebastian and he went on to add, “We are addressing an urgent need to provide the industry with relevant market intelligence.”
This project is expected to be kept current and updated on an annual basis.
