GolfTEC Adopts OneSpareLesson.com To Handle All Charity Requests

April 24, 2015

Golf lessons are very popular at charity fundraisers and golf instructors are often pestered by local charities to donate lessons. To help golf instructors handle these requests, Geronimo Solutions has launched a new platform that is free for golf instructors. GolfTEC recently adopted this platform for all of its corporate locations, and all locations now have their own OneSpareLesson account. This free platform will save GolfTEC instructors a lot of time and assures them that they will be well promoted at any fundraiser that uses one of their lessons to raise money (in a silent auction or raffle).

GolfTEC’s John Spagnola commented, “OneSpareLesson has given GolfTEC a seamless platform to reach and work with charitable organizations. We are excited to be able to provide donations to help support these great causes through this program”.

All golf instructors can create their accounts (free), and add a little information about themselves including a couple photos. This free platform can save the average golf instructor several hours per week that had previously been devoted to fielding requests from charitable organizations.

Instructors can add a “Request Donation” button on their own website, and the platform handles everything. They can also hand out postcards (see example) with all instructions for charities; lastly they are provided with a cut/paste email that can be used to reply to requests from charities. Three separate ways to reply, and each takes less than 20 seconds.

Charity Helpers LLC founder Mike Last adds, “We love to respond to great ideas suggested by golf course executives”, he says. “This is one of those ideas, and it gives golf instructors an easy way to reply to requests from charities. We’re excited to be promoting GolfTEC to all of the charity events that we support”.

Promotional Value

Charity Helpers, LLC (parent company) has created over 3500 private label websites that will feature participating instructors, courses, resorts. The company’s platforms are also used by hundreds of events to gather experiences (like golf lessons, vacations, golf 4-somes, etc) that can be auctioned off at fundraisers. The company just presented at the national Habitat for Humanity convention that was attended by over 1500 different affiliates. Golf lessons were a popular discussion topic among the fundraising community.

Many Golf Platforms

A wide variety of platforms have been created to ensure that each instructor, course or resort receives valuable promotion at the fundraising event. Golf courses can post certificates valid for weekday 4somes, resorts can post off-season stay and play packages, etc. All of these platforms are free for golf executives to use.
