(Palm Beach Gardens, FL) The EWGA announces Savvy Girl Golf as their newest Member Benefit Provider.
Diane & Deb are not only accomplished businesswomen, but are sisters and members of EWGA’s Southwest Florida Chapter. Former Kodak Executive, Diane McCue and Finance and Accounting Professional, Deb Story, discovered that most women seem to have a love/hate relationship with their golf purse. This discovery led these two entrepreneurial sisters to launching Savvy Girl Golf, a line of fashionable, functional and well organized golf accessory bags for women.
“Its always great to have EWGA members as national partners of our association,” said Ashley Nelson, Director of Partner Relationships. “Debora and Diane love women’s golf and found a need to design a purse for women golfers that is functional and stylish at the same time. The quality of their purse encompasses innovation and fashion. Our EWGA members will love the overall design and feel of this great purse on and off the course.”
Much of the brainstorming and design work happened at McCue’s dining room table, with guidance from Jill Wight, CEO and Founder of Jillebeans, LLC, who helped navigate the processes for product design and manufacturing. Various prototypes were developed until just the right combination of organization on the inside and fashionable look on the outside was identified; a journey that required great attention to detail while changing hardware, zippers, pocket sizes, trim and colors numerous times.
With their love and passion for women’s golf, the sisters reached out to EWGA to become a sponsor to connect with 14,000 avid female golfers across the U.S. As a national partner, Diane & Deb will be able to market their purses in EWGA e-communications and at on-site events throughout the year. The relationship with EWGA, allows for Savvy Girl Golf to engage with their ideal consumers and create an interactive platform to further expand their brand awareness in the market space.
“As former executives and current members of EWGA’s Southwest Florida Chapter, we are excited to share Savvy Girl Golf with thousands of women across the country,” says Deb Story & Diane McCue, owners of Savvy Girl Golf. “The EWGA membership will really appreciate the unique design and thought process that went into designing a golf purse with all the right pockets and features for staying organized. We have designed the ultimate purse for women golfers everywhere.”
