Counter balanced grip technology provides superior accuracy and control
(SCOTTSDALE, AZ) – The Secret Grip winning streak continues as the victor of the European Challenge Tour’s Challenge de Madrid recorded a four shot win, including a rare albatross, using Boccieri Golf’s Counter Balanced Secret Grip. Additionally, the Secret Grip Putter Grip was used by a T3 finisher at the PGA Tour’s Zurich Classic of New Orleans.
The added weight of the Secret Grip is achieved via a proprietary tungsten weight in the butt-end, combined with a rubber compound that is 40% heavier than a normal grip. The Secret Grip Putter Grip has been used by the multiple golfers on tour and its gaining more counter balanced advocates by week. The swing grips now have top finishes in Australia PGA along with this past weekend’s Challenge de Madrid.
“We’ve been touting the benefits of counter weighting for 10 years,” said Stephen Boccieri, President and CEO of Boccieri Golf. “With the introduction of the Secret Grip, golfers of any skill level can easily and cost effectively take advantage of counter balance technology to improve their putting and ball striking simply by re-gripping their clubs. It’s cool to see the best golfers in the world joining the Counter Balance Revolution and winning tournaments.”
Since its introduction in 2013, professionals using the Secret Grip swing club and/or putter grips have finished in the Top-10 28 times, earning more than $6.5 million in prize money. The Secret Grip is also endorsed by famed teacher Rick Smith, who consistently ranked as one of the Top 10 Instructors in the world. This is the first Champions Tour victory for the Secret Grip.

About Boccieri Golf
Founded in 2004 by Stephen Boccieri, the company’s popular Heavy Putter collection and Control Series line of full-swing products were the first to integrate counter balance principles. This unique approach to club design is proven to benefit golfers of all abilities, as strategically placed weight in the butt-end of the shaft produces a higher balance point for smoother, more repeatable swings from driver through putter.
The company opened a state-of-the-art Research and Performance Center at 15816 N. Greenway-Hayden Loop in Scottsdale in 2012. Coinciding with significant growth in demand for the entire Boccieri Golf portfolio, the 9,000-square-foot facility offers a variety of services, including custom club fitting, high-tech swing analysis and practice time on life-like simulators includes the RoboGolfPro which teaches the golfer the perfect golf swing.
