(VIENNA, VA) – Women on Course (WOC) – America’s premier networking organization that introduces like-minded women to one another through golf and its amazing lifestyle – has named Kimberly Cayce its Chief Operating Officer.
Cayce’s appointment follows a nearly 200-percent increase in WOC membership in 2014, making it one of the largest golf-related professional development organizations in the U.S.
In progressing WOC’s mission and values, Cayce will manage daily business operations, including membership, marketing, administration, finance and strategic partnerships. She will also chart long-term growth for the organization with roughly 20,000 participants in 2,000-plus golf and non-golf events annually in major markets nationwide.
Cayce’s impact will help advance members’ successes:
• Improving golf skills and protocol for new business connections and career advancement
• Establishing lifelong friendships
• Teaching fundamentals to beginning golfers and refining advanced players’ games
• Prompting families to spend time together on and off the course
• Learning from dynamic guest speakers at events
• Mixing and mingling with women from all age groups with diverse and interesting backgrounds
With women comprising nearly 20 percent of all American golfers, 50 percent of the nation’s population and 75 percent of consumer purchases, golf courses, country clubs and resorts are rapidly integrating WOC into their programming. With the emergence of Michelle Wie and Lexi Thompson, the Solheim Cup’s Germany debut and women being elected to leadership positions at the PGA and USGA, there has never been a time that golf is more relevant among women.
“Golf offers unlimited opportunities for women to develop personally and professionally,” says Cayce. “Being a part of Women on Course gives me the voice to support other women to find their ways along the path to success.”
“Kimberly is passionate, driven, organized and extremely knowledgeable about golf and business at large,” says Peter Hill, Chairman and CEO of Billy Casper Golf, owner of WOC. “Her leadership will attract more women to this great game and help ensure its vitality.”
“It’s exciting that Kimberly will help take Women on Course to the next level,” says Donna Hoffman, Founder and President of WOC. “While we are expanding the markets Women on Course is available, we are focused on details which make our events and programs professional, exciting and worthwhile.”
Hoffman will continue to develop innovative ways for women to engage the golf-lifestyle, creating fun destination events and inspiring women through her highly motivational speaker series, “Donna Direct.”
Combining accomplished golf and business pedigrees, Cayce was an All-American golfer at Duke University, played professionally and is the daughter of Kent Cayce, longtime Head Golf Professional at storied Congressional Country Club outside Washington, DC.
Cayce has boosted business performance for dozens of early-stage companies in fashion, beauty, fitness and technology sectors, most recently as Managing Director of The Adzi Agency in Alexandria, VA. With an MBA from UCLA, she was among its “100 Most Inspiring Alumni” and honored as a “40 Under 40” leader by Sporting Goods Industry magazine.
About Women on Course
The organization provides supportive and interactive settings for women to experience the golf lifestyle. By shifting focus away from competition and score, members and guests are encouraged to learn and play golf at their own pace through:

• A “Score 5 to Survive” format – tee shot, fairway approach, chip, two putts – promotes using different clubs without slow play
Fashion, fitness, travel and luxury components surrounding the world of golf are incorporated into WOC programming. Members enjoy free gifts; special access to private clubs; discounts on greens fees, apparel, equipment, wine and other products; golf and educational resources; contests; and forums.
