Druh ambassador, Lee Westwood of England, triumphed in a hard fought contest with Thailand’s Chapchai Nirat by defeating him at the first playoff hole to clinch his third CIMB Niaga Indonesian Masters title on Sunday. Coming off five top 25 finishes already in 2015, this is Westwood’s first tour victory of the year. Westwood is now #27 in the Official Golf World Rankings. Other valued Druh ambassadors having a solid tournament include Unho Park with a Top 20 finish and Adam Groom (T67) both from Australia.
“We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Lee on winning the Indonesian Masters title for a third time. In the China Open, another outstanding Druh ambassador, Englishman David Howell, finished second by just one shot. Howell, who was fourth at last week’s Shenzhen International, has won five times on the European Tour, most recently at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in September 2013.
