MEMPHIS, Tenn. (May 5, 2015) – The No. 1 player in the world, and defending British Open and PGA Champion won this past weekend’s WGC- Cadillac Match Play Championship with Project X shafts in the bag.
He was unbeatable through seven matches, carding birdies on the last three holes in regulation, three birdies in the quarterfinals and going birdie-birdie-eagle in the semi-finals on Sunday. The Match Play victory makes him the youngest winner in the event’s history and marks his 17 win worldwide, including four majors.
