WIXOM, Mich. – SuperStroke, the leaders in oversize grips, continued Tour dominance by nearly taking home the titles on 3 of the major golf tours over the weekend.
Match Play was the format in San Francisco and a player using one of SuperStroke’s patented parallel putter grips putted his way into the finals, tying his best finish of the 2015 season. This runner-up puts the player back into the top 20 in the FedEx Cup race.
At the United Leasing Championship in Indiana, SuperStroke grips were used by 7 players finishing inside the top-25. Leading the way was a player using the SuperStroke Legacy 2.0 Odyssey putter grip. With 5 straight birdies late Sunday, the player jumped into a tie for second place, his best finish of the year.
Down in Texas, the Champions Tour ended in dramatic fashion. A final round 66 jumped a player using a Legacy 1.0 13 spots and into a playoff, ultimately finishing in second place. The Legacy 1.0 is the smallest SuperStroke grip option with a 1.00″ diameter but still offers the patented parallel technology.
“It’s great to see that when the top players in the world compete and are given an opportunity to choose, they trust the patented parallel technology of SuperStroke,” said Greg Sabella, SuperStroke’s Vice President of Marketing “Players across each of the tours continue to show their confidence in SuperStroke’s grips to consistently perform at a high level in these world class events.”
