Bellevue, WA – RIFE Golf captured yet another win this past weekend at the Insperity Invitational held at The Woodlands Country Club in The Woodlands, Texas. It was a RIFE Two Bar Hybrid Mallet putter that was used to finish 11 under in regulation and then seal the victory in a playoff by draining a long, hard breaking 30 footer.
“I said, ‘I’ve got a flight to catch. Please, someone birdie, whoever it is, birdie the first hole.’ And it happened to be me, great.” the champion said.
The 57 year old got into the playing field on a sponsors exemption. Then took full advantage of his opportunity. He shot a 68 (-4) on Sunday, which propelled him into the playoff. The win earned him $307,500 and grants a one calendar year exemption on the Champions Tour.
Rife is excited to see continued success on the Champions Tour. Rife has had 100+ tour players and dozens of victories over the last decade. The Rife Two Bar Hybrid Mallet is one of Rife’s classic putters and has been trusted by many pros over many years. The winner of the Insperity Invitational was using the long broomstick version of the putter.
About RIFE Golf:
RIFE Putters is the true innovator behind horizontal grooved face putter technology with a patent on specifically sized grooves since 1997. These precisely spaced grooves allow the putter to gently press into the cover of the ball and grip and lift it into an instant forward roll. Other companies are now trying to imitate this patented technology but the spacing of the grooves is the true key to the gripping and lifting effect of grooved face putter technology. Horizontal RollGrooveTM faced putters create the truest “no skid” roll in golf no matter where you hit the ball on the putter face.
