Science & Motion Sports today congratulated John Hobbins, PGA on being named 2015 PGA Teacher of the Year for the Metropolitan Section of the PGA. Hobbins, a Level 1 SAM Certified Putting Instructor was recognized by the oldest section in the country for his excellence in service. He has used SAM PuttLab for over 2 years to analyze putting strokes, fit putters and to teach his golf students.
Hobbins is now in a very unique place both professionally and by location. His downtown Manhattan golf academy Greenside Golf Academy at Trinity Centre is located on the 20th floor of a Broadway office building. This location is unique as is his 25 year history in the Met Section. John said, “I think this may be the first time the award has gone to someone outside the private club sector. I’m humbled by the award which is voted on by all the past presidents of the section.”
Hobbins serves a wide variety of players in the metropolitan NY / NJ area with a growing stable of better players coming to him for both full swing and short game instruction.
