Portland, Ore. (May 5, 2015) – Golf Media Network (GMN), publishers of electronic magazine The Grain, indicates that Jordan Spieth wasn’t the only surprise winner at this year’s Masters tournament. According to Managing Partner and Executive Editor Jeff Wallach, “Our numbers from the last edition of the magazine, for The Masters, are as high as the new Masters champion’s were low. At a time when many golf publications are struggling for readership The Grain has continued to post great results, which allows us to give back to our 37 partnering golf associations,” Wallach continues. “We do that in the form of shared revenue, which the associations can use to support their important missions of growing the game, staging local and regional tournaments, and more.”
GMN also announced new partnerships, with the New Jersey State Golf Association and TOURAcademy. New Jersey will join a powerful consortium of state and provincial (Canadian) associations that distribute The Grain directly to its members.
TOURAcademy will send the five remaining 2015 editions of the magazine to an additional 1.3 million golfers, bringing total distribution to 3 million, the largest circulation in the industry.
The next edition of The Grain, delivering unique content previewing the U.S. Open, will be available June 1.
