WIXOM, Mich. – With the help of SuperStroke’s patented parallel technology, two players finished T2 at The Players Championship with another finishing tied for 4th. This event was the second straight in which a SuperStroke putter grip was used in a runner-up finish.
The Players came down to a 3-way playoff and witnessed some clutch putting down the stretch. One of the players finishing T2 trusted the Legacy 1.0, ultimately finishing the tournament 3rd in Putts per GIR. A 43-foot putt on the 71st hole helped pull this player into the playoff. The other T2 finisher played the Legacy 2.0 and finished 16th in Strokes Gained with a total of 3.798. This finish tied his best finish of 2015 and jumped him to 21st in the FedEx Cup race.
