(Kelowna, Canada May 11, 2015) StayPrime North America is pleased to announce the addition of Franz Hasenhündl to its management team with immediate effect.
Dennis Huntley, Chief Executive Officer of StayPrime North America, the Canadian-based exclusive distributor for StayPrime products in North America, announced that due to the continued growth and expansion of the company, he has appointed Franz Hasenhündl as the Vice President of Sales, Canada.
“We are very fortunate to have Franz join our company as Vice President of Sales, Canada. He shares our passion for the game of golf and excitement for the products we offer.” said Dennis. He continued “Franz brings decades of experience in the Canadian golf industry that spans a wide range of positions and responsibilities. Our company will certainly benefit from his extensive experience and greatly assist our continued expansion across Canada.”

As an avid golfer, Franz left a career in the food business in 1982 to work in the golf industry, starting on the grounds crew and quickly working his way up to Golf Course Superintendent, and then Director of Golf / General Manager. Courses include Beaconsfield Golf Club, The Royal Montreal Golf Club, Club de Golf Laval-Sur-Le-Lac, Hillsdale Golf & Country Club, Windermere Golf & Country Club, Golf Tremblant, Edmonton Country Club, Wainwright Golf Club and Northern Bear Golf Club, where he worked with Jack Nicklaus and oversaw the construction of the golf course.
Franz served on the Board of Directors of the Quebec Golf Course Superintendents’ Association for nine years, the last four as President. During that time, he was a regular columnist for GOLF INTERNATIONAL, a French-language magazine, as well as a guest speaker at several golf-related conventions, both regional and national.
After a very successful 25 year career at golf courses, Franz spent the last eight years as Operations Manager for an Edmonton-based importer of golf accessories, where he was instrumental in the design and sales of several well-known golf products. He brings considerable experience in sales and marketing in the golf industry, along with a very strong reputation for customer service.
