MYRTLE BEACH, S.C., May 15, 2015 – Founders Group International, South Carolina’s leading owner/manager of golf resort properties, will host the Myrtle Beach Never Forgets Memorial Golf Outing (MBNFMGO) on May 17-20. This year’s event will offer golfers a choice of four courses from more than 20 of the finest the region has to offer, including Grande Dunes, King’s North and Pine Lakes.
The Myrtle Beach Never Forgets Golf Outing began in 2002 as a way for firefighters of the FDNY to get out of the city, and away from the job. As the outing continued over the years, firefighters from around the nation began to join in and honor their brotherhood. In the 13 years since the 9/11 attacks, more than 7,000 firefighters have come to Myrtle Beach for this four-day extravaganza of golf and good times.
The event kicks off on Sunday, May 17, with practice round tee times, with competition beginning Tuesday, May 19 with afternoon tee times and ends on Wednesday, May 20 with morning tee times.
The event also includes a kick-off party on Monday, May 18 at Thorny’s Steakhouse and Saloon in Myrtle Beach from 6 to 9 p.m.
