Flat fee for 17 and under means unlimited play Monday through Thursday
DULUTH, GA (May 19, 2015) – Youth ages 17 and under can experience the challenges of the golf course at St Marlo Country Club with the new Summer Club Membership program, available from May 25 through August 10.
For a flat fee of $300, youth golfers have unlimited walking privileges Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and space-available play Friday through Sunday from noon to 7 p.m. Additionally, these Junior Members will have unlimited driving range access seven days a week.
“What better way for young people to improve their golf game than playing our beautiful and challenging course this summer?” said Cary Perez, director of golf at St Marlo. “The earlier you sign up, the more opportunities you’ll have to play. We welcome and encourage young golfers to spend the summer with us at St Marlo.”
St Marlo’s 18-hole course was designed by Denis Griffiths, who also created golf courses at Chateau Elan in Braselton and Georgia National in McDonough. Rolling fairways lined with hardwoods lead to well-manicured greens. Along the way, stone work and waterfalls dot the landscape. Nine holes have water features. The total length of the Par 72-course from the white tee boxes is 6,108 yards.
St Marlo golf course was ranked in the Top 3 of Atlanta’s best daily fee golf courses by the Atlanta Journal and Constitution and Georgia Golf News. It was also named one of the Top 10 “Best New Courses” by Golf Digest.
St Marlo is a semi-private golf club located in Duluth in Northeast Atlanta. To register for the Summer Junior Membership, call the club at 770-495-7725 and select option 2 for the golf shop. Young golfers must be aged 17 or under at the time they register for the program. For information about St Marlo, visit www.stmarlo.com.
